FROMM Group Acquires Finnish Technology Company Octomeca

We proudly announce the acquisition of Finish stretch wrapping machine manufacturer Octomeca OY. We are convinced that the innovative, high quality wrapping machines ideally complete the product range of the FROMM group. We believe that with this move and other investments in the field of automatic machines, the FROMM Group can strengthen the position as the partner for end-of-line solutions.

Octomeca is a Finnish technology company founded in the year 1989. They are specialized in designing and manufacturing premium class stretch film wrapping machines. The company is located in Naantali, south-western part of Finland. Today, most of the machines are delivered to customers all around the world.

Standard machines with modular construction as well as tailor-made special innovations in load protection are guiding Octomeca forward. Both horizontal and vertical wrapping solutions help to solve various packaging challenges. With almost 30 years of experience, Octomeca has delivered over 800 wrapping machines and packaging lines all around the world. In addition to wrapping machines, Octomeca also provides “Lifecycle Case” service, spare parts and modernizations to machines.
