Its popular for very small dispatch departments and also in logistical distribution where multiple wrapping stations are needed and by hand gives the customer the perceived flexibility.

It was not long ago where stretch wrap rolls were more than 4KG and made manual handling a nightmare. Warehouse personnel had to be able to handle "big" hand rolls and on busy days wrapping multiple pallets was tiresome and exhausting work.

With the best will in the world quality and wrap consistency were impossible to maintain.

FROMM has pioneered a high quality puncture resistance hand stretch film called Hybrid Hand Film, which is light and easy to apply.

No more 4KG rolls with 350 metres, now you can get 2.5 KG rolls with similar meterage, achieving the same pallets per roll and are able to be applied with minimal force and energy.

The operator attaches the film to the pallet and simple walks around allowing the film to stretch itself and apply to the load to offer the containment forces necessary to move the pallet to its intended destination safely and efficiently.

This modern Hybrid Hand Film is just as strong, if not stronger than the old heavy gauge technologies, but offers clarity for presentation, puncture resistance, and easy to apply.
