What's New And Happening At FROMM Packaging Australia in 2017

At FROMM Packaging we are always spending time and money on Research and Development and we are pleased to announce we will be releasing a range of new products and services in 2017.  

The main theme in 2017 is add on options and components. They will give the existing FROMM range of equipment new levels of benefits for all our customers to enjoy. 

Retrofit weight scales - With strict transport regulations, accurate pallet weights are needed. FROMM have designed retrofit weight scales and they can easily be retrofitted to any FROMM semi-automatic stretch wrapping machine. The benefit to you is at the time of stretch wrapping you can determine the load weight, so the trucks are evenly loaded. Saving you time and a lot of hassle! 

Topsheet film dispensers - FROMM have designed a new topsheet film dispenser that can be easily attached to any FROMM semi-automatic wrapping machine column -making life much easier!

Jumbo strap dispensers - For strapping systems, Fromm have designed new super jumbo dispensers eliminating the number of roll changes and manual lifting tasks. This technology will be a great OH&S advantage minimising the risk of employee injury

Hand Films - All our traditional hand films will be replaced in late January 2017.  We will be launching a full range of new hand stretch film to meet the market demands for light weight, easy to apply and strong film. Early testing trials are indicating savings of around 20% or more in film costs.

Wulftec Wrapping Machines - Our Wulftec wrappers will be featuring a new "thin film" carriage able to stretch films as low as 8um some 200%. This will be a great advantage for people in the logistical distribution market.

New strapping tools - will be released in late 2017 with the replacement for the highly successful P356 on the list.

Coloured and printed Strapping Rolls – Coming in mid 2017 you will be able to select what colour and if you would like any additional text or branding to appear on your strap. *Customisation fees will apply. 

Shipping Simulation Testing – In Early 2017 FROMM will be releasing new shipping simulation testing equipment which will transform the packaging industry.  FROMM will have specialised and accredited testing equipment allowing us to replicate transport movements to ensure your load is packaged to the highest standards. These tests are usually performed at our R&D Centre in Sydney, but some can also be done at the customer site.

Our new simulation equipment allows us to test packaging and product performance up to 0,8G stress. In doing this we can wrap or strap in differing formats to optimise the security and load retention, at the same time minimising the packaging costs.

The data is recorded and recommendations made to maximise performance whilst minimising expense. This service covers both strapped or wrapped product and gives our customers confidence in the value we offer.
