FSW360 Pallet Wrapper Install For FMCG Distributor

Case Study
Food and Beverage

Gideon Services is an importer and distributor of Food & Beverage products across Australia. Their warehouse, which was manually wrapping pallets by hand and unloading up to 20 shipping containers daily, faced significant operational challenges. The managing director sought a packaging solution that would improve production throughput and lead to a safer work environment.

After thoroughly reviewing their current wrapping and despatch processes, FROMM recommended the FS360 Pallet Wrapping Machine. This machine capable of wrapping up to 70 pallets per day with a maximum load weight  of 2000 kg and high of 2.1 m, met their needs, especially since they occasionally double-stacked pallets.

The FS360 (now called FS380) provided substantial improvement over manual wrapping, enhanced productivity, provided better load containment, and gave significant savings on film usage. With its simple one-touch operation, the machine can be easily operated by staff with no prior experience, eliminating the need for extensive training. The machine's single motor 200% stretch film head can stretch 1 m of film to 3 m on the pallet, significantly reducing material costs and minimising plastic usage. Furthermore, the stretch film used in recyclable, which helps lower waste and environmental impact.

The FS360 offered an ideal balance of simplicity, efficiency and flexibility. As a result, our customer has experienced a reduction in WH&S issues, an increased in production throughput, and financial benefits from the 200% stretch film delivery system.

FROMM Packaging Australia has now become a trusted partner rather than just a supplier.
