High-Performance Packing Line: Fully Automated Carton Erector and Closing Solution

Our customer sought to upgrade their packing line by installing a carton erector and bottom sealer, with an additional fully automated carton sealer further down the packaging line. 

FROMM provided an innovative carton erecting and closing solution, the FCE 2000, capable of forming and delivering up to 800 boxes per hour. These boxes are seamlessly transferred through the bottom sealing system, ready for filling. 

The customer's packing line flows efficiently from the filling station to the FROMM Tape sealing machine FC-PL300 Side Belts Top Seal, where tape is applied to the top of each box, creating a securely sealed box. 

Once sealed, the finished products are picked up by a robotic system and placed onto a pallet. The pallets are then stretch wrapped and prepared for despatch to end users. 

This FROMM solution was installed and fully operational within just a few days, achieved through close collaboration with the customer to optimise results.
